Here are just a few of the many kinds of monkey grass (Liriope and Ophiopogon) that Felder grows. All are planted about the same way - loosen your dirt, stick the plant's roots partways in, water one time; propagate any time of the year by digging up a hunk, roots and all, and planting it somewhere else. Liriope muscari varieties are very slow-spreading clump forming plants; Liriope spicata "runs" and can be invasive. Regular mondo grass (Ophiopogon) spreads, but the dwarf and black kinds are very slow.
